The development of Thai rice trading
application took part to assist in Thai rice trading data
administration and to be a public relations channel for
customers. The system offered information that helped
customers in Thai rice purchasing without having to
travel to see the products at the department stores by
themselves and this helped saving their time.
Moreover, this application would help increasing salesfor farmers since the online advertisement in this age
could help reaching to the group who were interesting
on Thai rice, customers then could be more easily and
quickly access to their interested information.
This research developed an application using
SDL C model and AGILE principles. The results from this
application development found that users who were
the shop owners gained convenience in their products
information management from browsing on users
information and notification when order was placing.
Mostly, the customer users received the major benefits
from their selectable to buy Thai rice through the
application just like receiving the goods directly from
the farmers via online payment system.
