This study aimed to investigate effects of Cleistocalxnervosumvar. paniala meat supplementationin diets on growth performance and blood composition of fattening pigs. Thirty-two hybrid pigs (Durocx (Largewhite x Landrace))weighing about 15 kg, each were used. It is separated into 4 groups, 4replications each, 2 pigs (barrow and sow) for each replication. The pigs of each group were fedCleistocalxnervosumvar. paniala meat at 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5%, respectively. The pigs in each experimental pen were fully given water and feed. All data consisted of growth rate, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, red blood cell, white blood cell, neutrophil and lymphocyte ratio (N:L), cholesterol, triglyceride LDL and HDL were subjected to the Analysis of Variance. Differences among means were compared with Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test. Results of the study showed that the supplementation ofdried meat from Cleistocalxnervosumvar.paniala at 0.5, 1 and 1.5% in the diets hadno effect on growth performance based on growth rate, feed intake, feed conversion ratio (P>0.05). Regarding blood composition, it was found that supplementationofdried meat from Cleistocalxnervosumvar. paniala at 0.5, 1 and 1.5% in the diets has no effect on an amount of RBC and WBC, proportion of N:L, cholesterol, triglyceride LDL and HDL(P>0.05)either.
