The study on the effects of light intensity on growth, yield and some bioactive compounds of Kaempferia parviflora Wallich. ex Baker had been done at Division of vegetable, Faculty of Agricultural Production, Maejo University from May 2019 to May 2020. Plants were grown under 50%, 60% and 70% shading sarans as compared with no shading (control). It was found that at the first week of germination until the 15th week and during 21st week, the 25th Kaempferia parviflora Wall. ex Baker did not show significantly different growth. However, there were growth significant differences in the second phase from the 16th week to the 20th week. All the treatments showed no significant differences in plant yield and flavonoid contents.
