This research studied on the effects of 13 different doses of acute gamma irradiation include 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 Gy to induce genetics variations of Kaempferia parviflora. The experiments were conducted between January 2019 and April 2020 at the demonstration farm of Maejo University, Chiang Mai. Radiation sensitivity tests revealed that the LD50 values were achieved at 75 Gy. In irradiated plants, the number of shoots, weight of rhizome and flavonoids content decreased significantly as the radiation dose increased. In addition, the height concentration of gamma irradiation induce morphological variations of K. parviflora include leaf chlorosis, dwarf plant, small size of rhizome and large size of root storage etc.
