This research aims to study the model of sourcing of production factors, production
management, assessment system for production management of golden dried longan community
enterprise, and the development of electronic production management system. Which will help to
know the production management system for golden dried longan of entrepreneurs / producers, and
use it as a database for manufacturers in evaluating simulations for future production planning
decisions within the group/ community enterprises, to calculate the production cost of golden dried
longan in advance for the benefit of manufacturers in financial planning and marketing, and trading
partners in negotiating trade for dried golden longan products by studying the group of entrepreneurs /
manufacturers of dried longan in Mueang District, Lamphun Province, and Saraphi District, Chiang
Mai Province.
The results of the study revealed that the integration was loosely organized in accordance
with the conditions of budget support from government agencies. Manufacturers have a small
investment and therefore use materials and equipment that are locally available, which makes the
production does not meet the standards. Mostly the production of dried longan is during the
production season. On average, the production cycle will be between 20 - 30 days. The production
process of dried longan is based on experience and expertise in the production, which the production
of dried longan will include both pre-orders from the customers and production drawings in parallel
with receiving orders, and will distribute the products immediately in order to maintain the quality,
color, aroma, and taste of the dried longan products. The manufacturer's costing method is calculated
based on sales price = cost+profit, depending on negotiation with partners / middlemen. However,
although golden dried longan is in high demand among consumers in foreign markets, especially
China, it is still unable to produce enough to meet demand, since raw fresh longan production is not
sufficient, the price of raw fresh longan fluctuates daily and underprice from merchants / middlemen,
causing manufacturers to bear the risk of high production costs. Sometimes, if the manufacturer does
not receive financial support from the government, they will stop the production in that year.In addition, the results of the analysis of factors affecting the production of golden dried
longan by using the Multiple Regression Model in order to assess the management situation of dried
longan production, found that raw fresh longan, harvested area of fresh longan, and the amount of
rainfall are the factors that affect the production of golden dried longan. When taking these variables
to predict the trend of the quantity of golden dried longan, can be seen that in 2020-2027, the demand
for golden dried longan tends to continuously increase. This result will enable manufacturers to plan
production management, financial planning in groups / community enterprises, and use the data to
calculate the cost of production factors / production cost of golden dried longan in advance, which
will help the manufacturer to manage the various production systems and to use information to
negotiate with the trade partners.
