This research was focused on the study of factors affecting the implementation of the educational quality assurance of the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension at Maejo University. Respondents of the study consisted of 50 working staff and researchers of the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension at Maejo University. Data were collected by open-end questionnaires and the use of SPSS for Windows for the statistical analysis of data including frequency, percentage and standard deviation, skewness, curves and multiple regression.
Results of the study showed that factors on personal characteristics (average of 3.93), factors on the environment (average of 3.82), factors on policy and administrative management (average of 3.92), and factors on support (average of 3.84), greatly affected the implementation of the educational quality assurance of the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension at Maejo University. As for the implementation level on the quality assurance of the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension at Maejo University based on PDCA cycle, the implementation level was high (average score equivalent to 3.94) which showed that predicting factors which affected the implementation of the educational quality by the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension at Maejo University consisted of factors on policy and administrative management in the variable related to the designation of duties/responsibility, factors on the environment in the variable related to the organizational culture and factors on support in the variable related to budget and information technology. With a statistical significance of 0.01, it was able to predict the effect towards the implementation of educational quality based on PDCA cycle at 82.70% with an error in predicting at 0.194. The results of the study can thus be applied as a guideline in the extension and development of the implementation on educational quality of the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension.
