Uric acid electrochemical sensor was developed in the first year of this research. The uric
acid sensor was prepared a novel Cu metal loaded GO (Cu@GO) hybrid material by a step of cyclic
voltammetric electrodeposition method on low cost electrode of pencil carbon electrode
(Cu@GO/PCE). The measurement performance of uric acid sensor was achieved wide linearity,
high sensitivity, and low detection limit as 0.4-820 ?M, 0.067 ?A/?M, and 0.24 ?M, respectively.
In the second year of this research, the uric acic electrochemical sensor was applied to detect uric
acid in urine and blood sample. The samples analysis result was compared with standard methode
research obtained with UV-Vis spectrophotometry from microplate reader and also compared with
examination in biomedical technology of BIOLAB laboratory. The Paired sample T-test statistic
was used for comparisor between biomedical technology of BIOLAB laboratory with standard
methode in microplate reader, and biomedical technology of BIOLAB laboratory with uric acid
electrochemical sensor. The both of paired sample T- test statistic result were shown not
significantly different. Forthermore, the 8 urine and blood samples analysis by 2 techniqes that
standard methode in microplate reader and uric acid electrochemical sensor were received 32.10-
198.60 mg/dL and 59.80 – 206.38 mg/dL in urine samples, and 3.01-4.68 mg/dL and 3.05-4.57
mg/dL in blood samples, respectively. And also, this result was tested the paired sample T-test at
95% confidence level, it shows not significantly different.
