The objectives of this study are search socio-economic information, community enterprises
knowledge, attitude towards and satisfaction towards the operations of tilapia fish farmers. Moreover, the
factors affecting the fish farmers satisfactions was find out. The population was the member under five fish
farmers group or club. A total of 105 members were purposive sample. The questionnaires that were
developed for their validity and reliability were used. The results of the study showed that most of the
farmers have raised tilapia in the form of clubs or fish farmers for more than 20 years and have moderate
level of knowledge about community enterprises while a positive attitude towards community enterprises
were found. The total satisfaction with their own group was at a moderate level while the sub satisfaction
include management and marketing were found as low satisfaction. The factors affecting the satisfaction
are farmer experiences, the initial tilapia sizes, training experiences and attitudes toward significantly at
0.05 different level (P<0.05). The adaptation by looking for a tilapia sex reversal technique without
chemical treatment was the main consideration. In case of farm operation, the water used for raising tilapia
has very low levels of chemical contamination. But there are some problems with water properties that are
beyond the standard in tilapia, such as pH and alkalinity. It can be concluded that the appropriate approach
to make adjustments is increasing the confidence of members in the operation of the group leadership and
marketing to enable members to benefit from optimal capacity.
