The study on fishery resource management for communities enterprise development on fishing community in Kew Lom dam, Lampang province aimed to study the fishery resource utilization by interviewing 75 fishermen and the study of fish consumption by interviewing 100 consumers. The results showed that most fishermen were male (81.33%) and then were late working age (80.00%). The most highest education level was primary level (53.33%), almost of fishermen were married and were local people (98.67%), most of them were householders (66.67%). And most of them were not any committee in the community (92 %) only
As for the fisheries occupation, most of fishermen went to fishing as part-time job (82.67%), while there were a few of them did as the main occupation (9.33%). For their income, the average monthly income was 2,335.55 baht, the average income per season was 7,896.07 baht. For the fishing, it was found that the number of fishing day were average 12-14 days/month; namely 14 days/month in summer and winter but 12 days/month in rainy season rainy (). Moreover, net was found that was the fishing gear which could catch the high number of catch per unit effort that was 10.08 kg./trip/ day. And the fish species that the most caught was Cyprinidae specie.
Regarding to the fish consumption, it was found that the most of consumers consumed fish 1-2 times/week (61.00%) with an average consumption of 1.24? 0.37 kg/time/family. More than half of the samples consumed 1-2 kg/time (53.00%). The most popular type of fish for household consumption was tilapia (97.00%). Finally, the satisfaction of fish was found that the consumers had a high level of satisfaction (X??=2.36 ? 0.30 points).
