The objective of this research is to design, construct, thermal insulation properties tested and assess the energy saving in a building are using maize waste Trombe Wall (TW) and Solar Chimneys (SC). The thickness of TW is 2.5 5 and 10 cm with 0.69 m wide and 0.91 m high. The density of TW is 444.44, 481.48 and 518.52 kg/m3, respectively. The distance between inside and outside wall of SC is 5, 10 and 15 cm. The study was used solar thermal tunnel to test the TW and SC in 2 case study 1) TW and 2) TW+SC. The results showed that the 10 cm TW thickness has the highest heat resistance of 8.27 K/W. The heat resistance of 15 cm distance of SC with glass and TW in outside wall (inside wall is a TW) is 18.15 K/W and 26.41 K/W respectively. 10 cm TW thickness can protect heat from outside from average outside air temperature of 34.2oC to room air temperature of 27.4oC and reduce the power consumption of the air-conditioner 0.077293 Ton of refrigeration or 1,218.75 baht/year cost saving. In case of TW+SC, the air temperature in room is 24.88oC. So, TW+SC is not need to turn on the air conditioner
