This research aimed to find out the impact, adaptation and welfare needs of single-parent families in Phai Thon subdistrict, Rong Kwang district in Phrae province. Data gathering by the use of interview schedule of 21 household samples. The results of the study showed that majority of single-parent families in areas were single mothers, with an average age of 32 years. Married by marriage registration, having an average of three children. The economic aspect of the single-parent family mainly engaged in agriculture. But income is not enough to pay. Therefore, they borrowed funding sources in the community. Need help with child care expenses, child education In terms of society. They had been accepted by the surrounding society, encouraging the need to have a childcare center from one and a half years old. As for children, there is no problem behavior in addition to educational needs. In physical health, due to mental health that causes stress, regret, worry, then solve problems by talking to relatives, neighbors and relying on religion. But there is still a need for mobile health examination services, tonics and antenatal care services
