The objective of this study were to study community context, production, and marketing situation, potential level of strength, and to analyze factor affecting on development of food community enterprise in Chiang Mai Province with Participatory Action Research (PAR). Data were collected from 12 districts in the highest potential food community enterprises according to the suggestion of Chiang Mai Department of Agriculture, i.e., Sansai and Pharo districts. The food community enterprises randomed were alu potato chips and Jinsom busy.
It could be concluded that these products corresponded with consumer demand in the medium level and the consumers can buy them at souvenir shops in each tourist attraction influencing the demand by mouth to mouth and radio media. Moreover, the varieties of taste in alu chips were important and Jinsom busy should be made related to produced and expired date.
