This study aimed to 1) investigate the current needs of students, course instructors and lecturers, and parents regarding the desirable characteristics of graduates in the Finance and Investment Management major, Bachelor of Business Administration program, Faculty of Business Administration, Maejo University, and 2) examine the satisfaction of current students, course instructors and lecturers, and parents regarding the specific financial knowledge and abilities of graduates in the Finance and Investment Management major, Bachelor of Business Administration program, Faculty of Business Administration, Maejo University. Data were collected from 171 current students, 10 faculty members, and 64 parents, totaling 245 participants, using questionnaires. Moreover, structured interviews were conducted with 12 current students, 5 faculty members, and 6 parents, totaling 23 participants. Descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, and mean were utilized for analysis, along with content analysis.
The study found that current students, course instructors and lecturers, and parents expressed the highest level of desire for the desired characteristics of graduates according to the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) in all aspects. As for the satisfaction of current students, course instructors and lecturers, and parents regarding the specific financial knowledge and abilities of graduates, it was at a high level. Additionally, current students, course instructors and lecturers, and parents expressed a need for the curriculum to emphasize real-world experiential learning, as well as to enhance knowledge and skills in accounting, taxation, computer usage, and various software programs. They also expressed a desire for knowledge in English and other foreign languages. Furthermore, there was a demand for a variety of elective courses to allow students to choose according to their interests and needs.
