The objective of this study aimed to study the feasibility of the design and planning of the smart transportation system to achieve energy and environmental sustainability in Maejo University area (main campus). The study process was interviewed on a wide range of data from 2,500 stakeholders traveling in the university, then the Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) technique was applied to analyze the requirements, and The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was constructed for organizing and analyzing complex appropriated decisions by a total of 15 relevant experts. According to the research results, it was found that the smart transportation system for energy and environment sustainability in Maejo University consists of (1) the development of data center and intelligent transportation control (2) the smart gate system (3) the smart parking system (4) the smart mass transit system and alternative transportation, and (5) the application for transportation information and traveling support within Maejo University area.
