The Agriculture and Food Program Year 2020 was granted for 37,053,800 baht through Science Research and Innovation Fund under MOU between Maejo University and Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI). TSRI acts as the national funding allocation. The activities of Project Management of Agriculture and Food Program were done by using the national funding allocation guidelines in the MOU. The objectives of the program were 1) monitor and analysis the progress report and budget report in NRIIS 2) evaluate the research output, outcome and impact in order to meet the program objective and key results (OKRs) 3) co-operate with the national funding allocation for reporting 4) administrate and co-operate with researchers and organizations. The number of 46 research proposals from 10 main projects were investigated. Monitoring and synthesis of progress and budget reports in NRIIS were done. Development of criterias for evaluation of outputs, outcomes and impacts in order to meet the program objective and key results were also carried out. Moreover, the meetings for progress reports were organised. Site visits for monitoring the progression of research activities were taken place in Chiang Mai, Phrae and Chumpon Provinces. The results revealed that 1) The outputs with 5 criterias in the MOU, met the targets 3 criterias, lower than the targets 4 criterias and higher than the targets 1 criteria. The evaluation for the harmonization with national strategy showed that all 46 research subprojects gave high to highest score. 2) The outcomes with 21 criterias in the MOU, the expected outcome from all research achievements met the targets. The outcomes i.e. knowledge, technologies and innovations could be used for development of national agriculture and food system. The analysis of TRL showed that 46 research subprojects met TRL 3-6. The prototypes were in TRL 3, TRL 4, TRL 5 and 6 were 23,19, 1 and 1, respectively. 3) The impacts (17 criterias) from all 46 projects evaluated before closing of the project were less. However, the preparation for 5 years evaluation beyond were arranged. In particular for the high impact evaluated projects, the impacts would be obviously obtained in 3 years onwards from year 2021. The expected impacts from self assessment of 46 research subprojects, met the targets in the MOU. Condition of the return on investment of
