Associate Professor Dr. Napat Ruangnapakul, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services of the Faculty of Information and Communication, Maejo University, was selected by the Office of the Higher Education Commission of Thailand (OHEC) and ASAIHL Thailand to represent Thailand in presenting the Country Report on the topic "GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION THROUGH INNOVATION AND PARTNERSHIP: A THAILAND CASE STUDY" at the ASAIHL International Conference 2023, the 154th edition. The conference was held at Soka University, Japan, and included participation from 244 member universities from 25 countries worldwide. Additionally, Dr. Pit Jitpakdee, Deputy Dean for Strategy and Quality Assurance of the College of Management, Maejo University, served as the university's coordinator for participation in the IANCOP 2023 project, aimed at enhancing academic and research cooperation. This collaboration involved coordinating with the management of more than 17 universities in Thailand and participating in events held at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Soka University, and Tokai University in Japan from June 7th to 14th, 2023.
Regarding the Country Report on "GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION THROUGH INNOVATION AND PARTNERSHIP: A THAILAND CASE STUDY," it presented an instructional framework focused on global development in Thailand. The report highlighted collaboration networks involving governmental agencies, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, social sectors, and online platforms such as Facebook and TikTok. These collaborations aimed to reach diverse target groups, including students, teachers, professors, local communities, media outlets, senior citizens, children, and youth, as well as individuals with visual and hearing impairments. Social innovation, media innovation, teaching innovation, and digital innovation were utilized to create an inclusive educational environment, fostering the creation of a better world for Thailand.
