The Ambassador of the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Bangkok Visited Maejo University

On 23 May 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University
along with the university executives welcomed H.E. Mr. Kinzang Dorji, Ambassador of the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Bangkok on the occasion of visiting the university to discuss academic cooperation, the possibility to extend the term of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic training for civil servants and officials from the Kingdom of Bhutan as well as to discuss the conferring of an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Organic Agriculture Management to His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The reception was organized at Inthanin Reception Room (2nd Floor), Office of the University Building.

In addition, the Ambassador also visited the Natural Agriculture Research and Development Center of Maejo University.
