On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Tawan Chatsungnoen, Director of the Institute of Quality Assurance and Standardization of Products (IQS) at Maejo University, along with Ms. Rimruthai Phuttawong, Deputy Director for Administration and Laboratory, and the IQS team, welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The 40-member delegation, visiting under Maejo University’s Short-Term Training (STT) program, toured the institute’s state-of-the-art laboratories and attended a lecture on scientific testing and analysis processes, covering both chemical and microbiological aspects. The visit served as an international learning hub for agricultural technology transfer.

This study visit helped enhance capabilities and facilitated knowledge exchange in agricultural product quality and standardization, benefiting the future development of Bhutan’s agriculture sector.
