Maejo University executives participated in an academic seminar and celebrated the 20th anniversary of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages, People's Republic of China.

From November 15-17, 2024, Associate Professor Lt. Col. Dr. Nirote Sinnarong, Assistant to the President, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Thatphong Awirothananon from the Faculty of Business Administration, represented Maejo University at the Yongjiang Forum 2024 in Nanning, Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China. The forum was held in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages.

During the event, they participated in a seminar on the topic “Enhancing Development of Higher Education toward Sustainability and Partnership between ASEAN and China”, alongside representatives from over 10 universities across ASEAN. The seminar focused on academic exchanges and cooperation in the development of higher education innovation within the region, as well as strengthening relationships between ASEAN and China.

In addition, the Maejo University team had the honor of attending the grand 20th-anniversary celebration of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages. The event included over 20 performances highlighting academic progress and international collaboration. Dr. Chu Gui Lin, an honorary Ph.D. from Maejo University, chaired the ceremony. Maejo University has had a longstanding relationship with Guangxi University, collaborating on joint educational programs and student exchange initiatives. To date, over 180 students have graduated from the ECP (Exchange and Cooperation Program). Maejo University also cooperates with Guangxi University in offering international master's and doctoral degree programs in Digital Economics and Innovation Management, a partnership with the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Business Administration at Maejo University.
