The Faculty of Business Administration students at Maejo University received the 'Excellent Presentation' award for their project on developing an asset inventory system using QR codes. This project was presented at the 8th National Science and Technology Conference, organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, held at Ramada Grand Hotel, Bangkok in February of this year. The project titled "Development of an Asset Inventory System Using QR Codes: A Case Study of the National Astronomical Research Institute" was conducted by Miss Kwanjira Chomphu and Miss Sawinee Mulfong, students of the Business Information Systems program under the Faculty of Business Administration, with Assistant Professor Dr. Chat Chuchuen, the faculty advisor. The system was developed to address real user problems and requirements and evolved into an asset inventory system using QR code technology. It simplifies the asset auditing process by eliminating the need for manual recording, ensuring accuracy, providing instant asset information upon scanning, enabling auditing from anywhere, and facilitating easier and real-time data access.
