This research is aimed: 1) to know about cropping situation and resource use for longan
production 2) To study the decision and impact of uncertainty on the cultivation and distribution
of longan.. The studies were done with the application of the multi-objective model and multiperiod
Linear programming, and the extended goal programming model. The community was
involved in determining the weight of the importance of alternative courses by adopting the Fuzzy
AHP. The study results showed that the farmers in the study area, Nakhon Chedi , Pasang
District, Lamphun province, had laid emphasis the greatest on growing Off-season(high quality),
with the weight of 0. 33, followed by 0. 26, 0. 23 and 0. 21 as the weights of the factors:
respectively, Off-season( non-high quality) , In-season( high quality) and In-season( non-high
quality). The reason is that the farmers had paid attention to economic and social factors, with the
value of 0.83 .
Decision toward using production factors appropriately under the large agricultural land plot
guideline of 406 longan agriculturists in Nakhon Chedi , Pasang District, Lamphun province can
be done by employing Multi-objective and Multi-period Linear Programming together with Fuzzy
Analysis Hierarchical Process ( FAHP) . Result of the study reveals that although off-season
longan growing (for selling high quality longan) can gain high revenue, this need to trade-offs
with risks of return when longan price is drop and the worse climate factor (low longan yield)
which result to overall decreasing income of agriculturists
