This study aimed to develop and evaluate a LINE
Chatbot system designed to help new mothers
systematically record and monitor their child’s
developmental data. The system was developed on
the LINE Official Account platform, integrated with
Google Apps Script and Google Sheets to support real-
time data logging and generate graphical and textual
summaries. Using a research and development (R&D)
approach, the study involved 34 parents of children
aged 0–4 years, selected through purposive sampling.
User satisfaction and usability were assessed using a
five-point Likert scale, yielding an average score of 4.13,
indicating a high level of satisfaction. The results show
that the chatbot simplifies data recording, enhances
parental confidence, reduces anxiety, and facilitates
effective communication with healthcare professionals.
The system demonstrates the potential of
conversational technology in child development
management and serves as a foundation for future AIbased parental support tools
