On Friday, May 29, 2026, the Faculty of Science at Maejo University hosted "The 6th International Conference on Science, Technology & Innovation (6th ICSTI)" in a hybrid format—combining both online and on-site participation—at the Chulabhorn Building, Faculty of Science, Maejo University. The conference was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thep Pongpanich, President of the Maejo University Council, with members of the university’s executive team also in attendance. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yuwalee Anpaprom, Dean of the Faculty of Science, delivered a report on the organization of the event.

The opening ceremony was further honored by the presence of Mr. Pranav Ganesh, Consul of India in Chiang Mai, who offered his congratulations and welcomed the participants. He emphasized the significance of strong academic relations and collaboration between universities in Northern Thailand and India.

This conference was organized under the theme "The Science Drive: Intelligent Well-being Agriculture," serving as a platform for students, faculty members, researchers, and scholars to present academic work in science, technology, and innovation—specifically regarding its integration with sustainable agriculture—while also fostering knowledge exchange among various international institutions.

The event also featured special lectures delivered by distinguished international experts. Researchers from both Thailand and abroad submitted a total of 96 full research papers for presentation through oral and poster sessions. High-quality submissions will be selected for publication in international databases.
