On April 4, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Nirote Sinnarong, Assistant to the President of Maejo University, presided over the opening ceremony of the 2025 GSB Yuwaphat Rak Thin Project. The welcome speech and project report were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Orapin Saritnam, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Production and project coordinator.
Following that, Ms. Atchara Fueangchuchat, Manager of the Maejo Branch of the Government Savings Bank (GSB), explained the objectives and selection criteria for outstanding achievements in the 2025 GSB Yuwaphat Rak Thin Project. A total of five student teams presented their project proposals as follows:
Team 1: Phumrapat – OTOP group from Suan Phueng, San Kamphaeng
Team 2: Pu Thung – Community enterprise for rice-field crab farming learning center, San Sai District
Team 3: Cha Lam Bamrungsuk – Community enterprise for dried golden longan processing, Ban San Pa Hiang
Team 4: Prakhop Prahong (Well-being MJU Team) – Eve Herb for Health community enterprise, Mae Rim District
Team 5: Wings of Change – Women’s group from San Phi Suea Municipality
The selected team(s) from this round will go on to represent Maejo University in the national competition.
This project is a collaboration between Maejo University and the Government Savings Bank (GSB), aiming to encourage university students and the younger generation to engage in innovative and practical community development. It promotes the integration of local wisdom with modern knowledge and work processes to strengthen community enterprises, enhance product and service value, and improve competitiveness in the market.
