On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Thep Pongpanich, President of the Maejo University Council, presided over the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Liberal Arts under the theme “The Art and Science of Wisdom.” He was joined by Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University. The event was held at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Maejo University.

The morning began with a traditional Buddhist merit-making ceremony, which included almsgiving to 21 monks and a religious ritual. University executives, faculty members, staff, and guests from both within and outside the university attended the event.

Following the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Thep Pongpanich delivered a special lecture titled “Directions for the Development of Social Sciences and Humanities,” providing guidance and inspiration to attendees. The celebration continued with the opening of the knowledge exhibition “20 Years: The Art and Science of Wisdom,” which also honored outstanding lecturers from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Maejo University.
