From March 4 to April 2, 2025, Mr. Winai Saengkaew, Associate Dean for Administration at the Faculty of Agricultural Production and a lecturer in the B.Sc. Program in Agriculture with a major in Herbal Science, served as a trainer for a hands-on workshop titled "Thai Traditional Medicine and Health Care, and Local Herbal Processing." The project aimed to foster strategic integration between Maejo University and San Sai Luang Municipality in Chiang Mai Province. The training was held at San Sai Luang Municipality, San Sai District, Chiang Mai, with 80 participants including Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) and local community members. The training program covered four key topics: 1.Causes of illness according to the principles of Thai traditional medicine 2.Herbal knowledge, medicinal plants, and Thai pharmaceutical formulations 3.Disease diagnosis based on Thai traditional medical theory 4.Cultivation, care, harvesting, and processing of herbal products
