Maejo University student receives a quota for the "Indo-Thailand Workshop on AI-Driven Innovations (AIDI)" to gain international experience.

Five students from Maejo University were selected to participate in the Indo-Thailand Workshop on AI-Driven Innovations (AIDI). The participants included Ms. Thanathorn Chopyai, Ms. Thanaporn Chopyai, Ms. Premsinee Buapae, and Mr. Sirawat Suwanwattana from the Faculty of Engineering and Agro-Industry, as well as Mr. Natdanai from the School of Renewable Energy. The project advisor was Assistant Professor Chawakorn Sri-ngernyuang from the Faculty of Engineering and Agro-Industry, Maejo University. The workshop took place at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, from March 24–28, 2025.

This activity aimed to enhance learning with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its interdisciplinary applications, such as AI in medicine and AI in energy management. It also served as a platform to discuss potential collaborations in research and the development of both short- and long-term student exchange programs, thereby strengthening ties between the two universities and paving the way for future academic cooperation.

In addition, the participants had the opportunity to visit notable sites including Sabarmati Ashram, Science City, and Akshardham, which significantly enriched their overall experience.
