The Tri-University International Joint Seminar & Symposium (Tri-U IJSS) is an activity focusing on academic development and collaboration of students and scholars. On November 4 – 8, 2018 in Chiang Mai University (CMU), Chiang Mai city, Thailand was held on the 25th Tri-U IJSS, themed “population, food, energy, and environment”, and another main objective of such event was to raise an awareness to the important global issues, also aims to encourage students to explore their creativity to find solutions for real-world problems. The participants from Maejo University, 8 students (5 students from School of Renewable Energy and 3 students from Biotechnology) and two lecturers (Dr. Rameshprabu Ramaraj, MEng., MSc., MPhil., PhD. & Dr. Yuwalee Unpaprom, MSc., Ph.D.). Both lecturers were participated as key persons, delivered a keynote lecture and acted as an evaluator of oral and poster sections. MJU students performed excellent Lanna cultural dance.
MJU student’s performance was highly visible:
1. Ms. Katherine Bautista achieved “Best Oral Presentation” award,
2. Ms. Jennifer T. Casabar was succeeded “Best Poster Presentation”
CMU was host for this conference and MJU (School of Renewable Energy) supported for one-day excursion at the university campus. From this event, MJU students received knowledge, exchange ideas and practical experience from several countries delegates (Japan, China, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Ghana, and Thailand).
